Swiffer 360 Duster

Swiffer 360° Dusters has thousands of deep-cleaning fibers that help reduce allergens*. Designed specifically to clean dirt in grooves and crevices, it traps and locks dust and allergens better than a feather duster. And a clever all-around design features 50% more fibers than regular Swiffer Dusters, allowing it to lock dust away for a high-definition clean.
*Common inanimate allergens from cat and dog dander and dust mite matter.

When you're out of fluffy Swiffer 360° Dusters, save your handle and get a box of 6 count 360° Dusters refills

I have always loved the Swiffer products.  I have used the regular Swiffer and this one just improves on it.  It has the super gripping material 360 degrees around the ergonomic handle.  Yeah, I had to get that buzz word in there.

This is great for another reason - kids are attracted to it.  More things I can pass off to my child labor and less for me to do to keep the house clean.

The starter kit costs about $5 and last a while before you have to run to the store to get more refills.

Here is a videa review from Austin...

Went a little fancy..

And finally...

I give it a big thumbs up - anything that makes housework easier gets this rating.  And it is reasonably priced.

Cake Pops

Ok, these things are all the rage right now.

Easy recipe..

Take a cake mix

Bake the cake and cool...Check

Crumble the cake into a bowl -check , Austin did a great job

Mixin a container of icing - Check

So far so good.

Make mixure into balls and place on wax paper - Again Austin was a good helper.

Now for the Epic fail moment -

Apparently I can't melt chocolate.

Two seperate attempts - candy coating discs in dish in micro

15 secs at a time, stir.  But could notget it to melt, then next thing I know it was ruined.

I gave up. Mounded more icing on top and everyone ate them but they looked disasterous.

Reason I try these things first and then just go to the store and buy premade cakes.  :(

Didn't even take a picture it was so bad.

Would be a great thing if they turned out like the picture...

But my attempt gets a great big

It couldprobably work for others but they are off my make at home list and on the buy from other source list.

Chef Boyardee House Party

On Sunday September 25th I hosted a House Party where the theme was Chef Boyardee.

I was on the fence when I first got this party.  I do not like Chef Boyardee, I really dislike the taste of the sauce.  But I figured, what the heck, I'm going to give it an honest review and at least the kids will like it.

Well, since I was going to have to serve this to others I may as well try some before I subject my guests to it.  I first tried the Taco-roni.  This one sounded the most appetizing so I started with it.

I got all the ingredients together and through it together.

At first I was so surprised by how fast it was to make.  It only took 15 -20 minutes. I got the kids involved and had them through all the cans of stuff in and I had some ears of corn left over from the day before and used that in place of the frozen that the recipe called for. And I used Chili flavored tomatoes.

Other than a melt down of a very tired Sean from his first full week in all day Kindergarden.  The whole family loved it.  It was actually really really good and it put on the make again list.

On another day I tried the Ravioli Lasagna.  I am not a fan of spinach so I left that out but followed the rest of the recipe.  Again I was surprised at how fast the food was done.  The boys loved this too but I was not a fan.

Next the big day arrives.

I decide to stick to the Taco-roni and added the untested Chili-roni.

I had accidently bought the wrong type and mixed beeferoni with the lasanga to make the Chilironi.   This one was a big hit too.

Here are some pictures of Chef Sean and Chef Austin hard at work.

And the final product

Everyone enjoying the meal.  Disapointed in myself for not getting hardly any pictures.  Camcorder dead, camera missing so all I had was my phone that was almost dead.  What a horrible host I was for this one.

Everyone got the recipes, notepads and great food.

The next one on my list to try is Cheeseburger-roni.

Like I said before.  This House Party I was not that excited about.  I didn't think I would like it.  But I was glad that I tried it.  The Taco-roni and Chili-roni are now on the regular pick list for dinners and the Cheeseburger-roni needs to be tried.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked these recipes and it makes me hope that Chef Boyardee will come out with some more to try.

I like the mix of other healthy ingredients added to the cans of Chef Boyardee to make a great dish.  Much better than Hambuger Helper.

Chef Boyardee Recipes get a big

from me, my kids, my hubby and my guests.

Thanks House Party for turning me on to these recipes that I would not have tried otherwise.

***I was choosen by HouseParty.com to host a Chef Boyardee Party.  House Party sent me a Party pack with coupons for Free cans of Chef Boyardee.  A Chef Boyardee Lunch cooler and coupons and notepads for the guests.  ****

Sodastream

Daily Bzz...

I'm Starting Off today with my plea...

To me this is equalivent the Keurig one cup brewer for coffee-holics.

I will stand up and not so proudly say I am a Diet Coke -aholic.  I have been drinking Diet Coke for 14 plus years.  Before that it was regular Coke.  The only time I did not drink it was when I was pregnant beause of the aspartame but there was a big cold one waiting for me right after I gave birth.

I do not drink Coffee in the morning it is a Diet Coke or Iced Tea (must be sweet or Peach flavor. )

I have cases of Diet Coke at home and empty cans in probably every room.  My Kids even tell me that its not good for me but I can't stop.

Please feed my habit and send me one of these.  I want to see if what they say is true.  That this really tastes like Diet Coke.  Do you know how much money this will save?  The pop machines at work are $1.50 / 20 oz bottle.  Compared to 25 cents they are saying it would cost if you change over to this.

Please help me break free from being a slave to the (20 oz) bottle and the drug (aspartame).

I will beg borrow or steal to be able to use one of these.  If I get hooked I may need two, one for home and one for work.

I need an intervention.  And this would do it.

Look at the flavors I would get to choose from:

My downfall:

My Morning Trade off if I don't feel like caffeine

If the pop machine is out of Diet Coke or they have Pepsi Products:

These could become my new favorites.  They sound Delish!!

I may even let Hubby and the Kids Try it out with their fav flavors:

So how does it Work???

This contraption is basically just a carbonator.  It adds the carbonation to water.  Cool, ClubSoda for my cocktails without leaving the house!!!

You have the

Load it up with a carbon dioxide cartridge...

Fill one of the carbonating bottles with water...

Hook the bottle to the contraption, oh sorry...  SodaStream,   press the button a couple of times to shoot in the carbonation and whalla...

Sparkling Water.

Add a cup full of flavor....

and you have my fix... um, Diet Coke.

Here is a video of how its done...

.
And now onto...

Without actually trying it I would give it a small

I would really, really, really like to find out if this lives up to its claims.

If it does it would get a better review than this lengthly gushing blog post.

Thanks for visiting and now I need to do back to my Diet Coke...

#ImABzzAgent and not to proud to beg

****No Product was received for this blog post, but if I get sent one of these many, many more will becoming your way.****
